Microsoft Teams, the latest addition to Office 365, that makes it easier for you to chat in groups, socialize, and collaborate

Introduced yesterday... Microsoft Teams, the latest addition to Office 365, that makes it easier for you to chat in groups, socialize, and collaborate. This may really have a coolness factor!

Microsoft Teams is available now in beta form. Microsoft expects the first general release to take place in 2017, Q1.

In the meanwhile it looks like Microsoft is integrating Teams with other platforms as well... for example Visual Studio Team Services,

Looks promising!

Open and Connected Platform: a brief overview of the SharePoint Framework

SharePoint opens up and (further) embraces Open Source & Office365...

"Whether you are a 1st or 3rd party SharePoint developer, the new SharePoint Framework offers a modern new client side approach that allows you to extend and customize SharePoint with high-trust code in ways that were previously unavailable in the Cloud. Watch, as program manager Daniel Kogan, provides an overview and demonstrates how the SharePoint Framework helps you to create beautiful, responsive solutions that you can customize to your own needs. Stay to the end to see how you can build and test SharePoint Web Parts locally with the new workbench, without having SharePoint running in your own environment."

What do you know about HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AngularJS, Bootstrap and SharePoint? Test yourself!

What is your knowledge on SharePoint? Maybe that is not enough. When building applications based on SharePoint, customisations et cetera, you'll probably need more knowlegde than configuration alone.

Test yourself on related technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AngularJS, Bootstrap and SharePoint in my online tests. At this moment the following tests are available (questions will be added regularely, see the menu bar above):

HTML selftest
CSS selftest
JavaScript selftest
JSON selftest
jQuery selftest
AngularJS selftest
Bootstrap selftest
SharePoint selftest

And for managers: ICT terminology selftest

Not enough? Take a look at more test resources:
